In November, I showed you the before picture for a piece of furniture that Emily from Primitive and Proper was refinishing for me.
Well, Emily delivered the piece to me this Saturday, and I could not be happier with the result!
Didn't it turn out so great?! The size is so perfect for my apartment.
I asked Emily to paint the inside of the cabinet yellow, and she did such a great job. It gives the cabinet such personality.
This is an old radio cabinet, and it just happened to have some great little details. Emily distressed it lightly to show them off.
This thing is really big. As you can see, I have plenty of room to keep filling it up!
And here's a photo of the beautiful walnut-stained top. Isn't it pretty? I am so happy with this cabinet. It far exceeded my expectations and will serve a great function in my kitchen.
If you live in the D.C. area and are looking for unique furniture pieces or for someone to refinish what you already have, definitely check out Primitive & Proper. All of my experiences with them have been wonderful.
I just want to say "Thanks again" to Emily! I love this so much.
And since I'm naming my furniture now, I need a name for the cabinet. Suggestions?
it looks perfect in that spot! and i feel like her name should be sophie. don't ask why. or maybe claire.
